Directed by Robert Rodriguez, straight forward horror/drama/comedy. An alien presence takes over a high school campus. A then up and coming cast and a campy (played straight) script does its job but Dimension (aka Miramax) released the film on Christmas day of 1998. Today, we might be talking about The Faculty - Part 10 on video or a “reboot/remake” equivalent. Then again the original Miramax might still be in business if it did not repeatedly drop the ball on fun movies like this.
