For me in 2023, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania was the most disappointing films of the year. The character of M.O.D.O.K. was also wasted, which I will never forgive the MCU for. After a fun and promising first Ant-man film, the sequels have been hard to watch. Yet, I still have a little faith that the series and MCU films in total will bounce back financially and critically, but there might not be enough butts in seats to save this version of the "Universe" as a whole. This honorable mentions are terrible films, but I got what I deserved, and the disappointment was warranted. They are, Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey and the awful Children of the Corn remake. In fact, Corn is right up there with Resident Evil and the Terrifier sequels as some of the worst film franchises.
